Hey there Pretty Little Things! This is my first post of the year! Shame on me. :-( Anyway, I was supposed to start school on the 10th, but due to the winter storm, school was cancelled for another week! I was happy for the first two days off, but then I started having the blues from being cooped up inside for so long. I always go online and browse photos of clothes, accessories, blogs, and other street-style mavens. I came across a pair of denim shorts with pearls all over them and I thought they were to die for! I HAD to have them, but then I was like, "Wait! I can make those!" I remembered that I had broken a pearl necklace about a year or two ago and I kept the pearls and the strand. I never took to to be fixed and I don't want to get rid of my pearls so I decided to embellish a pair of previous DIYed shorts with them. This is what I used:
* Needle
* Thread
* Shorts
* Pearls
Here are the photos. I took pics as I went along. In case you try your hand at this project, remember to be creative. You can use rhinestones or even embellish a denim jacket or vest in order to make it a bit more girly. Have your way with it and most importantly, have FUN! I hope you enjoy!
